The Jerry Belk Activity Center, located in Bowers Park, opened in August 1997. Features include 2 gyms (one with multipurpose flooring & one with conventional hardwood flooring), a suspened walking track overllooking the gym (1/10 mile), a cardiovascular fitness area, a community room, an aerobics/fitness/dance room, 2 multipurpose rooms and a catering kitchen.
