Tuscaloosa County has five multipurpose centers and three indoor facilities open for use seven days a week. Centers are equipped with a gymnasium and a workout room, plus each one has unique amenities such as indoor walking tracks, therapeutic pools, or recreational pools.   All these exercise options are available to use for a casual user fee of just $3 per day or with an annual membership. All facilities also offer various sized rental spaces for activities like birthday parties, reunions, receptions and meetings.

PARA will be increasing center membership and casual user fees effective January 1, 2008.
PARA is dedicated to providing quality recreation at an affordable price, but continually increasing operating costs dictate necessary adjustments in fees. We feel the value of the membership fees far outweighs the minimal increase and is necessary at this time. The fees still amount to only pennies per day, and the access to five activity centers with all the amenities continues to be an excellent value .
