The Leroy McAbee, Sr. Activity Center, situated adjacent to the VA Hospital, opened April 1, 1998.  Features include a gym with multipurpose flooring, a cardiovascular fitness area, a community room, a game room, an aerobics/dance room, a multipurpose room that divides into two separate areas, a meeting room, a spacious courtyard/patio, a catering kitchen, and the Dr. James R. Dockery Indoor Therapeutic/Fitness Pool which was dedicated July 4, 1998.

We celebrate Mothers and Fathers Day.  Let's celebrate our children.  A full day of fun and interesting activities will be prepared especially for your children.  Parents this is your opportunity to pamper your children.  Drop them off or stay with them (your choice).  Snacks will be served.

Allow your children to earn extra money for the summer.  Have them clean out their toy boxes of toys, games, children's furniture etc... in good condition.  Toys may be BIG or small.  Parents are not excluded.  You are welcome to participate.
