|Informal Watercolor Portraits|
Don't be intimidated. Bring your sense of humor and learn to paint the human face in watercolor. Don't take yourself too seriously. Loosen up. Every painting has its triumps and its failures. Make mistakes and learn from them. Let the paints flow and mix on the paper. It's watercolor, after all, and it's full of surprises and happy accidents. You'll learn how to photograph a subject, how to capture a likeness on paper and a variety of ways to apply paint. The rest is all about practice.
|Pastel Plein Air and Ampersand Boards 402123|
Learn the newest method of working pastel on ampersand board. We will practice first on charcoal type paper in class and then go "plein air" (outside) and work directly on our boards. If you don't like what you've created you can just wash it off!
