Does your child need extra help with homework or specific subjects?

PARA offers one-on-one tutoring in all subjects for youth in grades K-12. Individual hourly sessions are available by appointment only. Students will study using their own materials.

$15 per one hour session for grades K-5
$20 per one hour session for grades 6-12.

Location: Phelps Center

Puppy Kindergarten 402185

This class will allow your puppy to build confidence and learn canine social etiquette. Puppies will be exposed to all kinds of people, situations and other dogs at an early age and are taught good behavior. Instructions will focus on puppies responding to his/her name, sit, down, come, polite greeting and bite inhibition. For puppies 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 months old.


Day: Tuesdays


Time: 6:30-7:30 p.m.


Cost: $125 per puppy

Guitar Camp 402166

Group guitar lessons are available for beginners, ages 8-15. Students will learn basic playing techniques such as chords, tuning, strumming, picking and accompaniment for singing. Children with previous guitar experience may also enroll to improve their knowledge and skills. Cost is $100 for 5 four- hour lessons. Participants must have a suitable, workable G string acoustic guitar-no electric.

Dates: July 14-18 or July 21-25

Southern Strutters Baton & Dance Twirl 402129

Beginning to advanced classes are taught by Cathy Earnest, member of the National Baton Twirling Association.  Reduced pricing for multiple classes during the same session or for more than one child in a family. Registration deadline is the day class begins.

Tiny Twirlers- Beginning classes for kindergarten and elementary students.

Beginner I & II Baton & Dance Twirl- For elementary through middle school students.

Advanced Beginner Baton & Dance Twirl/Majorette Prep- Individual or Majorette lines, by instructor placement only, for middle-high school students.

Intermediate Baton & Dance Twirl/Majorette Prep- Individual or Majorette lines, by instructor placement, for middle-high school students.

Advanced Baton & Dance Twirl/Majorette Prep- Individual or Majorette lines, "A" Team, by instructor placement, for middle school through college age students.

Later Life Planning Guide

This is a FREE workshop that outlines some basic information to assist in making preparations for when one is no longer able to manage their own business or at the time of death.   Content is presented as a way to help  one's family -The WHAT, WHERE, WHY and WHO -of how to manage if you cannot.    The instructor is a licensed social worker with many years of experience in helping individuals plan and conduct their affairs.
