BOARD AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS Created by an act of the legislature in 1969, PARA is an authority which receives funding from the city of Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, and historically the city of Northport. We generate about 28% of our own revenue through fees and charges.
