Field Description

The Leroy McAbee, Sr. Activity Center, situated adjacent to the VA hospital, opened April 1, 1998.  Features include a gym with multipurpose flooring, a cardiovascular fitness area, a community room, an aerobics/dance room, a multipurpose room, a meeting room, a spacious courtyard/patio, a catering kitchen, and the Dr. James R. Dockery Indoor Therapeutic/Fitness Pool which was dedicated July 4, 1998.

The Dockery Pool at the McAbee Center will closed until further notice beginning June 10.  While repairs are being made on the pool, members may use the indoor pools at the Faucett and Miller Centers at no extra charge!
