 Online Registration 101

Registration for TUSC's Spring 2015 programs is now open.  Programs will be offered at Sokol North Complex and Bobby Miller Center.  The registration deadline for all programs is Tuesday, January 27th.

Please find information regarding each of these programs below and at their respective pages.  Contact 205.562.3200 with any questions or concerns.

Juniors Program (U4s only)

  • Designed for our youngest soccer players, the Juniors Program offers skill based games to learn the fundamentals of the game.
  • Several session times and locations are available.
  • This program meets once per week.

Academy (U5-U8)

  • For young players, the Academy program offers excellent instruction in basic soccer skills, an introduction to team play, and an emphasis on individual skill development. 
  • Practices and games will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Tuscaloosa United Soccer League (U9-U13)

  • Recreational soccer league which includes two practices and one game each week.
  • New and developing players are welcome.
  • Coaching opportunities are available.
  • Includes a seven game regular season and end of season tournament

2015 West Alabama Baseball League Programs Guide

 

Tee Ball

• Tee Ball is open to 3 and 4 year olds.
• The program fee is $85 per player.

  • Includes practices, games, team shirt, hat, socks and award.

• Players will provide pants, glove, and cleats.
• Teams will typically practice once per week and play one game per week.

  •  Practice days/times will vary per team.
  •  Games will be played on Saturday mornings and afternoons at Sokol North.

• The season will conclude on or by 6/6.

 

Coach Pitch

• Coach pitch is offered for 5 to 8 year olds.
• The program fee is $125 per player.

  •  Includes practices, games, post-season tournament, jersey, socks, and hat.

• Players will provide pants, glove, and cleats.
• Teams may practice once or twice each week depending on the game schedule.

  • Practice days/times will vary per team.
  • Games are typically played on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays at Sokol North.

• The league season will conclude on or before 5/29.

 

Player Pitch

• Player pitch is offered for 9 to 12 year olds in two divisions.

  •  9-10 Year Old Division
  • 11-12 Year Old Division

• The program fee is $125 per player.

  •  Includes practices, games, post-season tournament, jersey, socks, and hat.

• Players will provide pants, glove, and cleats.
• Teams may practice once or twice each week depending on the game schedule.

  • Practice days/times will vary per team.
  • Games are typically played on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays at Sokol North.
  • There is also potential for interleague play with other leagues across Tuscaloosa County.

• The league season will conclude on or before 5/29.

 

Registration for all WABL programs is now open. You may register online at www.tcpara.org via the link to Online Registration.* Or, visit any Tuscaloosa County PARA office or the downtown YMCA to register in person. The registration deadline is Friday, February 6th. The age cutoff for all programs is April 30th, 2015.
*Online registration requires an active PARA household and an on-file birth certificate.

 

As WABL continues to grow, so does the need for quality baseball coaches. Head and assistant coaches are needed in all programs. Practice time and field space provided.

Partnership with UOC Sports Medicine
 

PARA is proud to announce a partnership with UOC Sports Medicine to help keep our athletes safe from head injury and concussion.  As part of this initiative, UOC will provide concussion and head injury awareness training for coaches and parents and UOC Athletic Trainers will be present at select PARA programs & activities.
