PARA offers youth athletic teams for girls basketball, boys basketball, developmental soccer, girls softball, cheerleading and football. Come join our team!

Teams may rent practice courts and fields through PARA. All PARA centers have indoor multipurpose courts; inquire at each facility for court fees. Field reservations may be made at any PARA office and is based on a 2-hour time period. For field rental rates see the parks section of our site (link parks to that page).

| Safe Haven Youth Basketball 120203 |
The Safe Haven Youth Basketball League is for kids ages 5-13. Teams play a seven game regular season and a single elimination post-season tournament.
The coaches meeting is November 7 at 6pm at the McDonald Hughes Community Center.

Tackle football program for ages 5-12. Registration is according to the local school zones. The league is divided into three divisions:
Instructional (ages 5-8)
Division I (ages 9-10)
Division II (ages 11-12)
Teams play a 6 game regular season and single elimination post season tournament. There are no weekend or travel games. Each team is limited to the first 30 registered participants.

Cost: $120
Registration on Saturday, February 4th from 9 am - 12 pm at the Belk Activity Center. Registration will continue until teams meet roster needs.
Home games and practices are at Sokol Park.

| Volleyball Lessons 402189 |
These classes are for girls in the 6th-8th grades. Students will have opportunities to learn or improve basic volleyball skills. The instructor coaches Junior High and Varsity at Tuscaloosa Christian School & won the State Championship in 2011. She has been coaching volleyball for over 10 years and has been the official scorekeeper for UA volleyball since 1998.
