|Family Camping 101|
Bring your tent, sleeping bag, and your family for PARA's CAMPING 101. Outdoor professionals certified in Wilderness First Aid will teach you and your family the basics of family camping. We will go over the necessities, conveniences, and skills you need to have a successful, enjoyable family camping trip.
Learn how to safely pick a camp site, how to put your tent up, how to cook on a fire, and enjoy outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing and plant identification.
PARA will provide dinner Saturday night; we will teach you how to make tinpacks; A fun and easy dinner that is ground beef, potatoes, carrots, and onions, all slow cooked together over a camp fire. Anyone who needs special dinner preparations please confirm with Mark Harrison, 331-5600 before making your reservation.
