PARA Welcomes Mike Goldammer as Director of Tennis

Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority welcomes Mike Goldammer as Director of Tennis for Center Court Tuscaloosa. The award-winning tennis facility is located at 715 - 21st Avenue E. in Jaycee Park.

Gary Minor, executive director states, “We conducted a nationwide search for the director of tennis position and were thrilled that we were able to hire our first choice.”

"I couldn't be more excited for this opportunity,” said Goldammer. “Center Court Tuscaloosa is a terrific facility with dedicated, passionate and professional staff. I look forward to working with the CCT and PARA team to build on their current success and create an environment that is truly exceptional."

Goldammer was most recently Executive Director of the United States Tennis Association Northern in Bloomington, Minnesota. Additionally, he was a private coach of two nationally ranked junior players and taught adult and junior lessons in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. He brings over 22 years of tennis business leadership and expertise as a teaching professional and championship player.

Center Court Tuscaloosa opened in 2015 to accolades as “Indoor Tennis Facility of the Year” by TennisIndustry magazine. It features three indoor courts, 10 outdoor courts and a pro shop. There are membership options and services for all ages and skill levels with lessons, clinics, mixers, tournaments and more.
