Summer Soccer Camp

Barry Spitzer Soccer Day Camp focuses on fundamental skill development through individualized soccer instruction. Campers learn proper techniques through fun exercises and games precisely designed for young players. They are encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace under the diligent guidance of our professional staff. The goal of Barry Spitzer Soccer Camp is to create a safe and fun environment for young players to learn the love of the game.

Goalkeeping Training Opportunity!!!
We are offering Specialized Goalkeeper Training at Barry Spitzer Soccer Camp!  At Day Camps we will offer an hour a day of Goalkeeper Training for just $30, in addition to your camp registration fee.
 

This is an excellent way to try a new position without the commitment of a full soccer season.  Training sessions will be tailored to meet the unique needs of the new and experienced goalkeepers. Ideal for any level of player who wants to learn and refine goalkeeping technique.

Sokol South Field Complex

Check in / Check out:
Check in is between 8:30am-9:00am each morning.  It is required that you sign the daily sign-in sheet each morning when dropping off your child and each afternoon when picking up.  Check out is between 12:00pm-12:15pm each day.  Barry Spitzer Soccer Camp is not responsible for children dropped off prior to 8:30am.      

Camp Schedule:

• 8:30am - 9:00am – Arrive at Camp
• 9:00am - 10:30am – Training and Games
• 10:30am - 11:00am – Snack
• 11:00am - 12:00pm – Training and Games
• 12:00pm - 12:15pm – Depart 

What to Bring:
All campers must bring a snack that does not require refrigeration.
For your convenience, it would be best put your child’s name on items you bring.

Hydration:
All campers must bring a water bottle, coolers of water will be provided for refills.

Soccer Balls:
All campers must bring a soccer ball.

• Age 6-7           Size 3 Soccer Ball
• Age 8-12         Size 4 Soccer Ball
• Age 13+          Size 5 Soccer Ball

Cancellation Policy:
Those who cannot attend camp for medical or other reasons will be refunded all but a $50 administrative fee as long as they contact the camp at least 72 hours before camp begins.

Barry Spitzer Night Soccer Camp is uniquely designed for the advanced Competitive Field Players and Goalkeepers ages 12-18.  Night Camp is ideal for club and high school players looking to gain the competitive advantage and sharpen their skills before the upcoming soccer seasons.  Led by TUSC Staff Coaches, Night Camp will include technical and tactical training and be run in conjunction with Goalkeeping Camp.      
 

Goalkeeping Camp 

Tuscaloosa United Soccer Club’s Director of Goalkeeping will be leading goalkeeping camp! This camp is ideal for all competitive club and high school goalkeepers, 12 years old and up, who want to enhance and refine goalkeeping technique. The specialized training program will include technical and tactical training, ending with game play with field players. Goalkeeping Camp is run in conjunction with Competitive Soccer Camp!
