What is Competitive Soccer?

Competitive Soccer is designed for players ages U13–U18 who are committed to a higher level of training, competition, and development.

The program provides a structured, team-based environment with regular training and competitive matches against teams both in-state and out-of-state.

Participation in Competitive Soccer is by invitation through tryouts held each spring.

Competitive teams primarily compete in the fall season, with spring participation determined on a case-by-case basis.

Who Should Consider Competitive Soccer?

Competitive Soccer is a good fit for players who:

  • ● Are highly motivated to improve and compete
  • ● Enjoy training and playing soccer consistently at a high level
  • ● Are ready for a more demanding and structured environment
  • ● Are committed to attending training sessions, games, and team events
  • ● Want to compete against strong competition both in-state and out-of-state

Competitive Soccer requires a significant commitment from both players and families. Players should be prepared for regular training, weekend games, and travel.

Players may choose Recreational Soccer if that better fits their goals, availability, or level of commitment.

Commitment & Expectations

Competitive Soccer requires a higher level of commitment than Academy and Recreational Soccer.

  • ● Teams typically train two times per week, based on coach and field availability
  • ● Games are primarily played on weekends, with travel both in-state and out-of-state
  • ● Attendance at training sessions and games is important for player development and team success
  • ● Players are expected to prioritize team commitments during the competitive season

Competitive teams primarily compete in the fall season.
Spring participation is limited and offered on a case-by-case basis, as many players participate in their school teams.

Families should be prepared for a significant time and travel commitment when participating in Competitive Soccer.

Playing time, team roles, and travel opportunities are determined by the coaching staff based on development, performance, and team needs.

Competitive Soccer fees are paid during the Fall season.
