At Tuscaloosa United Soccer Club, we are committed to creating a positive, respectful, and development-focused environment for all players.
This policy applies to all TUSC programs: Recreational, Academy, and Competitive.
Sideline Expectations
✅ Encourage, Don’t Coach
- ● Cheer and support all players
- ● Do not coach from the sideline
- ● Allow players to make their own decisions
✅ Respect the Game
- ● Respect referees at all times
- ● Do not question or criticize referees
- ● Understand that mistakes are part of the game
✅ Respect Coaches & Players
- ● Do not confront coaches, players, or opposing spectators
- ● Address concerns privately and away from the field
- ● Wait 24 hours before discussing game-related concerns
✅ Create a Positive Environment
- ● No negative comments toward players, coaches, or officials
- ● Support effort, not just results
- ● Help make the game enjoyable for all players
Spectator Responsibility
Parents/guardians are responsible for the behavior of:
- ● Family members
- ● Guests
If Expectations Are Not Met
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in:
- ● Verbal warning
- ● Removal from the field area
- ● Further action as determined by the club
