Youth Volleyball

Youth Volleyball League - Spring 2024

Ages 5-13, coed

General Information/Registration

This coed league, for ages 5-13, plays in the spring and is designed for entry level players, coaches, and teams to experience the game of volleyball. Players ages 5-10 will have fun growing in the volleyball world and deciding if this is a sport for them! We will focus on fundamental development and skill building. Players ages 11-13 will also work on elevating to intermediate play. 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 30, 2024
-Practice days and times will vary as determined by coaches (open gym schedules below)
-All teams will be responsible for providing their own uniforms

Team and individual registration available:
$600 per team
$125 per player*

*Please note, every effort will be made to place each registered free agent onto a team, but we cannot guarantee placement. A prompt refund will be issued at the start of the season if we are unable to place your child onto a team. Team placement for free agents will depend upon the number of volunteer coaches. Parents of players are also encouraged to volunteer coach if possible.

Pool play turning into brackets for championship

- Single elimination

- $600 per team (8-10 members) 

 

8-11 year old Development Lab: (details coming soon!)

Aging Date: Season Beginning Date (4/1)
A birth certificate is required for participation. (Submit Birth Certificate Online)
 

Practices & Games

Practices and games will be held at any of the following locations: Belk CenterMcAbee Center or Faucett Brother Activity Center. Games will be played on Saturdays with a possibility of Tuesday play.
 

Practice days and times will vary. Weekly practices will be scheduled by coaches. Coaches may choose to hold additional off-site practices at their discretion.

 

COACHES NEEDED!

Team placement will depend upon the number of volunteer coaches. Parents of players are also encouraged to volunteer coach if possible. For details on coaching see Coaches Information below.

Rentable Volleyball Nets

PARA has rentable volleyball nets for use in the gymnasiums (1/2 court) at the following Activity Centers: Belk, Faucett, McAbee, Miller, and Phelps. Please inquire with individual Centers for pricing and availability.

McAbee — Tuesday & Wednesday 6-8PM
Belk — Monday & Thursday 6-8PM

Open gym rates are free with a valid PARA membership & daily use fee for non-member.

All coaches must complete an application for each program they wish to coach in. 
 

Coach safely training and background checks must also be completed each year.
