Youth Volleyball League 

Ages 8-13, coed

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Volleyball Program, and even more excited to welcome Takilia Mayfield as our Volleyball Program Coordinator

 

Coach Mayfield brings over 25 years of volleyball experience at the collegiate and club levels, both as a player and a coach. A Tuscaloosa native and Central High School graduate, she played collegiately at Bevill State Community College and the University of Montevallo before transitioning into coaching. Her career includes serving as an assistant and head coach at institutions such as Bevill State Community College and Stillman College, along with many years of club coaching with West Alabama Juniors. She also holds both a BSBA and an MBA, underscoring her strong leadership and organizational skills.

 

Coach Mayfield’s philosophy centers on teamwork, discipline, and player development, with a strong emphasis on character, confidence, and leadership. She is passionate about creating a positive environment where athletes grow not only in skill, but also as individuals and teammates.

 

We are thrilled to have Coach Mayfield lead this program and look forward to building a volleyball community that inspires, challenges, and supports athletes at every level.

Coaches Information

 

All coaches must complete an application for each program they wish to coach in. 
 

Coach Safely training and background checks must also be completed each year.
