Mission Statement

 

The mission statement of Tuscaloosa United Soccer Club is to provide soccer players in Tuscaloosa County the opportunity to reach their highest potential based upon each player’s abilities, goals and motivation. Tuscaloosa United Soccer Club will achieve this mission by providing:

  • ---Structured, age and skill appropriate training for players of all ages, gender and ability levels,
  • ---Opportunities for parental input and involvement,
  • ---A dedicated and trained coaching staff, committed to each individual player,
  • ---And a physically and psychologically safe environment that promotes a high level of competitive soccer and encourages individual and team development.

 

TUSC offers programs for recreational and competitive soccer players ages U4 through adulthood. For more information on each program, please visit the links below.

Birth certificates are required for youth sports participation.

If you do not have a birth certificate on file, you may submit here.

Please allow 1-2 business days for verification. You will be contacted via email when the birth certificate has been verified and you can register your child.  If you need immediate assistance, please call or visit any PARA Activity Center.

 

Coaching Opportunities

Tuscaloosa United Soccer Club has coaching opportunities available across many levels and age groups. 

Recreational Soccer

Programs for ages 3-18

Tuscaloosa United Soccer Club’s recreational soccer program is a fun intramural soccer experience the club provides for players of all skill and ability levels.

TUSC sponsors rec soccer programs in the fall and spring of each year. The fall soccer season runs from September through November.  The spring soccer season runs from February through May.  Players may choose to play one or both seasons.

Competitive Soccer

League is Invitation Only

TUSC’s Competitive Soccer Program serves the needs of the advanced player, providing high level skills training and competitive team play in the Alabama State League (ASL) from Alabama Soccer Association (ASA).
The program is designed for the experienced player who has attained the requisite level of skill necessary to compete at the highest levels of competitive soccer in Alabama.
Invitation to participate on Competitive level teams is offered through player evaluation sessions held each summer.
This program is coached by highly qualified, credentialed, and professional individuals.
