Juniors Soccer
U4
The Juniors Soccer (U4) program is an introductory program for young players and their parents, focused on fun, comfort, and early development.
- ● Meets once per week (Mondays at Sokol North or Tuesdays at Bobby Miller)
- ● 45-minute sessions (5:45pm–6:30pm)
- ● Parent/guardian participation is required during each session
- ● Focus on fun, confidence, and a positive first soccer experience
Players are not placed on teams. Each session includes age-appropriate activities and games in a group setting.
Program Structure
- ● Coed program led by volunteer coaches
- ● Groups are balanced by number, age, and gender when possible
- ● All session times are consistent for each group
- ● Special requests cannot be guaranteed
Season Overview
● 6-session season (with 1 built-in weather makeup date)
● Shirt and end-of-season award included
● Age-appropriate curriculum focused on development and fun
Cost: $75 per player, per season
- Our goal is six sessions. We have one rainout day incorporated into the regular season. If we do not achieve all 6 sessions due to weather, we will schedule a maximum of 1 rainout day.

Registration is per player, per season and includes 6 sessions, a t-shirt, and an award. (We schedule 7 sessions in case of weather😉)
Parent & Coach Meeting Information
A Parent and Coach Virtual Meeting will be held prior to the start of the season.
Date & Time: September 9 at 7:30pm
Volunteer coaches are needed for all age groups. (Don’t worry — it will be fun and easy!)
All meeting information will be sent to the email address listed in your PARA household account. Please make sure your contact information is up to date so you receive all communication.
Two locations (Sokol North & Bobby Miller) are offered for your convenience. An end-of-season awards presentation will be held.

Parent Involvement
- ● Parents/guardians participate with their child each session
- ● Volunteer coaches are supported with guidance and simple session plans
- ● Parents may be asked to assist during sessions

INCLEMENT WEATHER PROTOCOL
In the event of inclement weather, we will notify you of field closures using the OneCall system and Facebook by 4:00pm on weekdays and 7:00am on weekends. We only announce when the fields are closed. OneCall is a computer-generated phone call. Please be sure to update your contact information with Tuscaloosa County PARA when you register in order to receive these alerts.
If fields are closed due to inclement weather, we will offer a maximum of two make-up days. Indoor backup space may be used when available.
Our goal for Junior’s Soccer is 6 sessions. We have rainout days incorporated into the regular season. If 6 sessions have not been completed at the end of the season, we will re-schedule a maximum of 1 make-up day.
