The Extended Day After School Program at the Phelps Activity Center is designed for students at Rock Quarry Elementary School (RQE). The program is open to all students, but parents are responsible for providing transportation for their child to the Phelps Center if they do not attend RQE. 

Monday-Friday: 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
(Students will be walked from RQE to the Phelps Center)

Students will be given time to complete homework assignments with assistance from staff, outdoor/playground time, and other activities such as indoor rock climbing, visits to indoor playgrounds, swimming, and more! Fee also includes a daily snack.

Extended Day is open to ALL students, but at this time PARA is only able to provide transportation for children who attend Rock Quarry Elementary School. Parents are responsible for transportation arrangements for any child participating in the program who attends a school other than Rock Quarry.

Please sign up by Friday the week before your child attends ($3.00 late fee applies for signing up after that). Space is limited, so register early to save your child's spot! 

Students must be registered before being dropped off. The parent handbook form must be printed out and turned in on the first day your child attends any PARAkids program. Click HERE for parent handbook.

Drop the kid(s) off for engaging activities and recreational fun! A dinner consisting of pizza (or something similar), juice, and dessert is included for each child. The location, cost, and amount of time varies. Please see the description for each Kids Night Out event for more details!
